I was really looking forward to seeing this movie, have been waiting on pins and needles for YouTube to put it up for rent. and I am left... raising an eyebrow. I didn't hate it, but I am not sure it lived up to all the hype either. Could have done without the weird dance scene where she could suddenly talk. And the ddenly we are suppose to believe she can sprout gills of her own? Hmm. I remember this story Its very popular. The acting was excellent, as was the cinematography. Most of the divergence from the original novel is very justifiable to our times. I have but one minor criticism, regarding the racial references made in the movie. In the novel, Poirot doesn't need any more encouragement to 'take on the case' than his friend Bouc's flattering praises. The movie suggests that Poirot's decision to investigate is due to Bouc's warning that if they don't have the whole case solved by the time the train is freed and they arrive at the next station, the police will make an arrest with or without any evidence, and it most likely will be Mr. Marquez (for his Hispanic name) or Dr. Arbuthnot (for the color of his skin. As a white man; I have no real right to suggest that people of color should be offended by this or not. People of color may find it refreshing and respectful of the reality of life then and now. I thought it was very contrived and pandered a bit too much. I could be completely wrong, but for the train director (an elite member of society and the person held accountable for the safety of the passengers) to not openly blame one of the very two people he seems to protect from the beginning, and not actually use them as a scapegoat himself, would seem much less likely in those days, I would think. I wonder what Ms. Christie would say.

In space, no one can hear you scream. B.R. 2049 is an incredible film with a really specific feel to it. Story, music, cinematography, and acting all mesh together and the visuals are stunning. It should have been much more popular. This is the most powerful movie I've seen in a while. How the hell did I end up rooting for that guy? The things that make him great have a dark side. Mildred is powerful, fierce and tender at the same time (yes, she IS tender. There's redemption, and compassion, and an unfliching stand against racism and homophobia and violence against women. This is dope but what did ya'll think of John X Smith's new project. STARZPLAY. If ever a sci-fi deserved Best Picture, it's this.

I couldn't understand why my friends can sleep in cinema while watching this. What the hell... Came here after watching Dune's trailer. This town and people only exist in the minds of Hollywood Liberals. They show THEY are the true racists. This garbage will k ill them. This movie was f* ing amazing. I've committed the eighth sin: calling a sequel better than its predecessor. But Blade Runner 2049 deserves the praise. It's a masterpiece; a fantastic experience of eye-wateringly beautiful visuals, hypnotic sounds, and a fantastic narrative. The pacing of this film is also commendable; despite being intentionally slow placed, and doing a good job at it too, I felt I could watch hours more of it. The story was a complete one; not the sort that left you waiting for a sequel to explain things away, or for a spin off novel ( cough* Star Wars *cough. Denis Villeneuve outdoes himself, and so do the writers. Obviously, Ryan Gosling is flawless, Harrison Ford is grumpy, Jared Leto is weird, Dave Bautista is actually good. and so is everyone else. I implore you to watch it; it's a unique experience, and a richly satisfying one. It's also more approachable, I felt, than the original, without pandering too much. Loved it.

One of the greatest sequels ever made. I'm high on weed while watching this 😂. The relationship the protagonist had with his AI girlfriend was IMO maybe the best part of the movie. The philosophical themes in that relationship and the relationship itself was outstanding. This movie was great; however, it reminded me of so much of my personal tragedies. I know it was just a movie, but I felt bad for her son.

Legitimately one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Awful acting, almost zero cohesion and terrible writing. Please spare yourself the agony of wasting your time on this forgettable pile of garbage. It's good. But I still think the first Alien movie is the better feels like it has a lot of the same plot and it doesn't really add a lot to the Alien universe I wished for more. But maybe we'll see something in an upcoming movie. I rented this last night. It is BRILLIANT! I recommended it. If at anytime you struggle with Pain that turns into something else. GLORIOUS -INSIGHT, sometimes comes from the most unlikely of places.

Let me just say that this is one of my favorite trailers. Interesting I think I'm going to watch this over and over and over again because the pictures really show what's going on 💯percent sure.
